The Union is a fully licensed Tapas restaurant that draws on the experience and flair of local chefs Jane Jeffrey and Ross Dobson. With a keen interest in casual dining and Mediterranean flavours, the pair have created an inner city atmosphere and a menu that goes beyond.
Ross’ stellar food career began in the nineties with his first cafe in Newtown. Just when the Sydney food scene scene was burgeoning, Ross reluctantly became part of the new wave of Australian ‘foodies’ to hit the local and international publishing market.
Ross’ books, including the international best selling ‘Fired Up’ series, have sold hundreds of thousands of copies world wide. Ross has appeared on various television and radio shows both here in Australia and abroad.
Yet, Ross is a proud local Penrith boy at heart. Ross has now put the Penrith restaurant scene on the map opening The Union Restaurant with his long time friend, Jane Jeffrey.
